Over the years, several coffee shops have established a cult-like following due to their high level of customer service and excellent coffee brews. Drip the Beverage LabEstablished in 2012, Drip The Beverage Lab has become a staple in the Tahlequah community for offering high-quality drinks in a fun and rustic atmosphere. In 2017, Drip relocated to their current location in the building that used to house the "Iguana Cafe" and the community responded well to the bigger building and exciting new setting.
Lift Coffee BarThe relative new-comer to the coffee scene in Tahlequah is the Lift Coffee Bar. The Lift specializes in coffee drinks and a full menu of delicious waffles. The Lift is located in an eclectic, urban-chic storefront in the middle of downtown Tahlequah close to the Northeastern State University campus.
Kawi CafeThe Kawi Cafe is owned and operated by the Cherokee Nation and provides a twist on the traditional coffee shop by weaving in elements of tribal culture. Located in the Cort Mall near the Cherokee History Museum, the Kawi Cafe is located near Cherokee tourism destinations like the Spider Gallery, Prison Museum, and the Supreme Court Museum.
