You will experience the outdoors while enjoying the incredible comforts of queen and twin size beds and soft luxurious mattresses and pillows. All linens will be provided, including bathroom towels. Plus, each bed will have a hand-made quilt as your warm blanket.

You can enjoy a large meeting room for your studies, sessions, or when it is time to relax. Media projector and screen are available upon request. A wood burning fireplace will let you enjoy each other with the day winding to a close.

Food will be either catered up to the cabin, where you will enjoy a buffet, or you will join the rest of camp guests in the dining hall.

Camp Lutherhoma can provide all three meals, plus an evening snack and a mid-morning coffee break snack.

The furniture will bring a sense of rest and outdoors charm, as it is all made of pine from Northeastern Oklahoma forests, or aspen from Colorado.

Group Initiative Course Program
The Group Initiative Course is also known as a challenge course or ropes course program. All activities on the challenge course are led by the camp's highly trained staff of facilitators. The challenge course program at Camp Lutherhoma is one of the best in Oklahoma.

The GIC is a program that is designed to promote team building, group productivity, and individual growth. It is a great program for any group. The camp's staff will tailor your GIC experience around the needs of your group. The GIC program also supports a full high-ropes program as part of the experience. During the program, Camp Lutherhoma balances fun, challenges, and experiential learning to help the growing process of each group.

Camp Lutherhoma usually plans on spending about 7-8 hours on a single day experience. You will always be guided and led by the Camp Lutherhoma-trained challenge course facilitators, who will tailor the activities to your group, your goals, and your needs. Typically, the day includes get-to-know each other games, stretches, safety awareness, trust activities, low challenge initiatives (unique problem solving activities for your group), and might include the high ropes course activities. Each activity is followed with a discussion time to process what the group might learn from it and how they might apply it to their lives, their faith, their group, or their families. What each person takes from the day depends on how their experience impacts them.
