The Illinois River is Safer Due to GRDA and Illinois River Volunteer Fire Department Collaboration8/25/2020 When the unthinkable happens on the Illinois River like a missing paddler or camper, two local agencies spring into action first, the Illinois River Volunteer Fire Department and the Grand River Dam Authority Police.
